High-end fashion is coveted not only for its exclusivity and individuality, but also because it is rooted in material expertise and craftsmanship – a tradition perfected by renowned couture houses such as Chanel and Dior. The same desire for lasting quality also extends to interior materials, and in luxury spaces such as five-star hotels, high-end boutiques, upmarket residences and prestigious offices, this translates into exclusive, refined materials that are rich in detail.

Vescom’s new textile wallcovering collection is characterised by a sense of nostalgic opulence. Drawing inspiration from the couture craftsmanship of the 1930s and ’40s, the 15 designs are eclectic, timeless and tactile. Celebrating material and structure without being ostentatious, they offer richness and emotional resonance while highlighting the links between beauty and comfort, refinement and well-being – qualities that enhance high-end interiors.

Qualities that enhance high-end interiors

Every design in Vescom’s textile wallcovering collection showcases the craftsmanship that went into making it. Multiple weaving methods, diverse yarn combinations and specialist artisanal refinements reveal the processes behind each piece. A slub, a shift in yarn, a soft irregularity: the kind of details that bring textiles to life. Despite the range of processes involved, the collection strikes a balance between complexity and clarity, showcasing craftsmanship in a subtle manner. The results are akin to artisanal objects, yet with the reliability and performance required for contract spaces.

Crafted complexity

Materiality lies at the heart of the collection. Many designs incorporate fibres such as hemp, linen, wool, silk, cotton and viscose, tapping into our desire as humans for natural materials. Others integrate recycled content, continuing Vescom’s journey towards more sustainable material choices. Each material supports the collection’s tactile, crafted, couture-inspired aesthetic while meeting contemporary needs.

Natural elegance

The collection’s 15 designs explore character through structure, using weave and yarn to give interiors a genuine textile presence. Subtle herringbones, sophisticated textures, discreet metallic threads, expressive slubs and rich chenille surfaces create depth and movement.

Woven character

Highlights include <a href="/en/products/sisu">Sisu</a>, which translates a timeless herringbone from classic tailoring into wallcovering, giving interior surfaces a measured, structured rhythm. <a href="/en/products/valora">Valora</a> feels close to loom state: softly irregular, beautifully woven, with a hand-crafted authenticity that invites closer inspection, echoing the tactile intimacy of haute couture fabrics.

Airy, refined and uplifting, <a href="/en/products/ludi">Ludi</a> brings the freshness of fine linen to interiors, reminiscent of the light elegance found in 1930s Parisian summer collections. <a href="/en/products/amare">Amare</a> and <a href="/en/products/sofia">Sofia</a> evoke the comforting warmth of winter wool, enveloping and cocooning, with Sofia shot through with gold or silver, shimmering like subtle jewellery.

<a href="/en/products/solene">Solene</a> channels the elegance of a tailored suit fabric, its poised, wool-like character anchoring a room with understated sophistication. <a href="/en/products/forte">Forte</a> celebrates the yarn itself, its horizontal slub giving texture and personality to the surface, while <a href="/en/products/eldor">Eldor</a> introduces a subtle metallic thread, lending the surface a quiet radiance.

Anchoring a room with understated sophistication

Colour plays a subtle supporting role in the textile wallcovering collection from Vescom. The palette is restrained and natural, designed to enhance the materiality of the products. Soft neutrals, earthy tones and muted shades emphasise the texture, depth and weave of the materials. Occasionally, a richer colour appears as a sophisticated accent. Light interacts gently with the surfaces, creating depth and subtle highlights on the walls.

Quiet colours

Performance runs through every thread of the collection. Designed for contract use, each wallcovering meets strict fire-retardancy standards and ensures a high-quality installation. A PFAS-free stain-repellent finish helps guard against water-based marks while preserving the material’s tactile appeal.

Textile wallcovering that brings couture-like craft to interiors

Architectural and minimalist yet tactile and nostalgic: Mira weaves it all together in a sheer curtain fabric.

<a target="_blank" href="/en/products/mira">Mira</a> – a 63% recycled polyester FR sheer fabric – combines an open grid structure with a slub effect to create a natural, linen-like texture that subtly nods to the 1960s. Balancing order and organic imperfection, the fabric’s intentional irregularities bring the grid to life, adding movement and tactility to a design rooted in Nordic and Japanese tradition. Mira has an elemental, rustic character that feels both pure and comfortable, softening – and defining – spaces while maintaining an air of minimalism.

The softness of Mira’s ultra-matte look is enhanced by its twelve natural colours: a range of nuanced neutrals, honey-gold, dried berry and moss green. A soft flame effect runs through the weave, adding subtle colour accents that give the textile extra depth while interacting with other tones in an interior.

While Mira naturally modulates incoming light and provides privacy when used at windows, it can also function as a flexible partition in open-plan interiors, dividing a space while maintaining visual connection and allowing natural light to flow through.Produced, woven and finished in Vescom’s 100% owned weaving mill in Germany, the sheer fabric can span from floor to ceiling thanks to its suitability for railroaded installation, and fulfils all the high-performance demands of the contract market: flame retardancy, colourfastness and durability.

Mira’s unique weave gives it a light, open appearance while lending it remarkable strength. Even with constant opening and closing, the sheers retain their integrity beautifully, preserving their refined appearance in demanding commercial settings.

Vescom Purefin is a new generation of wallcovering that’s as responsible as it is resonant. Combining aesthetics, durability and material consciousness, Purefin wallcovering is made in the Netherlands from a thermoplastic polyolefin (TPO) and synthetic rubber film, with a non-woven backing. Offering a distinct identity – soft to the eye, refined to the touch and resilient in use – it responds to the growing need for materials that not only perform but also elevate interiors visually, physically and ethically.In an evolving industry, <a target="_blank" href="/en/solutions/improved-indoor-air-quality">Purefin</a> meets the demand for materials that fulfil today’s strictest performance, safety, sustainability and wellbeing standards. They’re irregular, nuanced and tactile. With surfaces that evoke hand-applied textures, woven fibres or pressed plant matter, they offer a crafted, matte aesthetic that stands in clear contrast to typical high-performance wallcoverings. Purefin’s palette leans into natural, timeless tones that echo the sustainability story behind the wallcovering.
