Drawing inspiration from the couture craftsmanship of the 1930s and ’40s, the 15 designs are eclectic, timeless and tactile. Celebrating material and structure without being ostentatious, they offer richness and emotional resonance while highlighting the links between beauty and comfort, refinement and well-being – qualities that enhance high-end interiors.

Every design in Vescom’s textile wallcovering collection showcases the craftsmanship that went into making it. Multiple weaving methods, diverse yarn combinations and specialist artisanal refinements reveal the processes behind each piece. A slub, a shift in yarn, a soft irregularity: the kind of details that bring textiles to life. Despite the range of processes involved, the collection strikes a balance between complexity and clarity, showcasing craftsmanship in a subtle manner. The collection’s 15 designs explore character through structure, using weave and yarn to give interiors a genuine textile presence. Subtle herringbones, sophisticated textures, discreet metallic threads, expressive slubs and rich chenille surfaces create depth and movement.

Highlights include Sisu, which translates a timeless herringbone from classic tailoring into wallcovering, giving interior surfaces a measured, structured rhythm. Valora feels close to loom state: softly irregular, beautifully woven, with a hand-crafted authenticity that invites closer inspection, echoing the tactile intimacy of haute couture fabrics.

Airy, refined and uplifting, Ludi brings the freshness of fine linen to interiors, reminiscent of the light elegance found in 1930s Parisian summer collections. Amare and Sofia evoke the comforting warmth of winter wool, enveloping and cocooning, with Sofia shot through with gold or silver, shimmering like subtle jewellery.

Solene channels the elegance of a tailored suit fabric, its poised, wool-like character anchoring a room with understated sophistication. Forte celebrates the yarn itself, its horizontal slub giving texture and personality to the surface, while Eldor introduces a subtle metallic thread, lending the surface a quiet radiance.

Colour plays a subtle supporting role in the textile wallcovering collection from Vescom. The palette is restrained and natural, designed to enhance the materiality of the products. Soft neutrals, earthy tones and muted shades emphasise the texture, depth and weave of the materials. Occasionally, a richer colour appears as a sophisticated accent. Light interacts gently with the surfaces, creating depth and subtle highlights on the walls.
