We are committed to reducing our carbon footprint and compensating for where we cannot reduce yet. Our long-term journey is towards circularity, which we work towards everyday.

Leading the way for our industry

For years, we have been actively monitoring and decreasing our impact on climate change. Through modernisation and significant shifts in our production efficiency, we have decreased our energy consumption and now exclusively utilise low-carbon energy sources. Additionally, our three EU production facilities generate solar energy on-site. We are also minimising our environmental footprint with advanced waste and water management practices, ensuring sustainable use of resources and reducing overall impact.

Carbon footprint awareness and reduction

Our comprehensive carbon footprint assessment encompasses scope 1-3 emissions.
We are actively offsetting our carbon footprint for scope 1 and 2, earning us the designation of a carbon-neutral company.
We've implemented energy-saving measures in our buildings and factories, including improvements in lighting, heating, and insulation. Additionally, all future investments will take possible energy savings into account.
We work together with our partners to actively reduce the footprint in the whole supply chain.

100% renewable energy

Vescom’s production facilities in Europe and headquarters use 100% renewable energy. We also own our renewable energy supply, with solar plants on the roofs of all our EU production facilities, covering approximately up to 40% of the energy demand.

Sustainable tooling

We improved our collection system and sample service to reduce material use and carbon emissions. By shifting from fixed binders to personalised boxes made from recycled materials, we've minimised waste, shipping, and CO2 emissions while conserving raw materials. Additionally, our packaging, including boxes and envelopes, is made from recycled materials reducing our carbon footprint and compensating for where we cannot reduce yet.
