<a href="/en/products/heather">Heather</a> marks another step in our commitment to sustainable solutions. Part of our Sustainable Materialogy – materials with a common ground for a common good – it contains 44% recycled polyester FR. The yarn-dyed fabric is woven in our own weaving mill, where we scrutinise everything from our raw materials to our manufacturing methods with a focus on reducing our environmental impact.

Across various colourways, Heather connects to other nature-inspired materials in the world of Vescom, such as Vescom Purefin, an environmentally friendly non-vinyl wallcovering that leads to improved indoor air quality, and Colour Connect and Foster: two upholstery fabrics made from 100% recycled content.

Holistic wellbeing and comfort

Known for the unparalleled softness and cosy, homely feel of its chenille yarn, Fuga is now crafted locally in Vescom’s German weaving mill from 79% recycled polyester FR yarn made from locally sourced post-consumer PET bottles.

The durable fabric continues to offer the comfort and warmth that made it a success while aligning with our commitment to continuously increase the proportion of recycled content in our materials, one of the steps we’re taking to reduce our environmental impact.

The <a target="_blank" href="/en/products/fuga">refreshed Fuga</a> features a wider, more vibrant colour palette, with 39 two-tone blends that add depth and character to any space. Reflecting Vescom’s expertise in combining colours, surprising tones come together in each fabric. Pink mingles with green, gold interplays with purple – these fresh and sometimes bold shades add a bright and relaxed touch to interiors, making them ideal for everything from hotels to workplaces.

With the launch of two new recycled upholstery fabrics, Vescom offers the ultimate in mix-and-match flexibility while continuing its innovative reuse of waste. In line with the ethos behind our Sustainable Materialogy story – making materials with a common ground for a common good – Colour Connect and Zenith are produced locally in Vescom’s German weaving mill from 100% recycled polyester FR yarn made from locally sourced post-consumer PET bottles.

Graphic, sporty additions to Vescom’s upholstery collection, they open up the possibilities for playful encounters of colour and texture – both between the two fabrics and in combination with other materials. Whatever you choose to put together, it works. This versatility makes the cost-effective yarn-dyed fabrics perfect for a variety of applications – from furniture to panelling – giving them a long life. Their flexibility makes them ideal for today’s definition of ‘workspace’ – the many places we work, from offices and co-working spaces to hotels, restaurants and homes.

Whether through their accent or main colour, the 43 vibrant colourways of Colour Connect not only become companions to <a target="_blank" href="/en/products/zenith">Zenith</a> but also harmonise with our other upholstery fabrics, making the material a versatile base for any upholstery scheme. A simple fabric with a dry, matte look and feel that gains more meaning through its connectability.

Colour Connect is the cornerstone of Vescom’s assortment of 100% post-consumer recycled content upholstery – the material solution that links everything together.

Dynamic and playful, <a target="_blank" href="/en/products/zenith">Zenith</a> links to <a target="_blank" href="/en/products/colour-connect">Colour Connect</a> in both tone and personality. Inspired by a sky full of twinkling sparkling stars, the 100% recycled fabric brings a lively and fresh energy to spaces. Featuring a subtle ribbed construction, it has a small all-over pattern that creates a graphic yet organic-feeling grid. Like strokes of coloured pencil on a sheet of paper after a doodling session, flecks of unexpected accents define Zenith’s 31 colourways – a hint of mint in cool purple, a pop of bright orange against sky blue. The random appearance of the accents makes the material more durable, helping to hide visible signs of use.

Vescom Purefin is an environmentally friendly wallcovering with the proven performance and durability benefits of hardwearing materials. The olefin-based wallcovering is free of PVC, plasticisers, chlorine, heavy metals, formaldehyde, halogenated fire retardants and phthalates. Produced in the Netherlands in line with Vescom’s holistic approach to sustainability and wellbeing, Vescom Purefin has a reduced carbon footprint, better environmental impact and leads to improved indoor air quality due to its low VOC levels, promoting healthier environments.

This unique material asked for a unique identity. Vescom Purefin wallcovering comes in two embossed designs that have a distinctive natural, chalky, matte look. ‘Undesigned’, not over-designed, <a target="_blank" href="/en/products/concreed">Concreed</a> and <a target="_blank" href="/en/products/lynn">Lynn</a> have an artisanal, hand-crafted appearance. Concreed is rough and rugged yet achieves a peaceful ambience in interiors, while linen-like Lynn is inspired by traditional plant-based weaving materials.
