A responsible quick-clean finish

In spaces such as restaurants and workplaces, where spills are bound to happen, Vescom’s water- and stain-repellent upholstery fabrics let furniture embrace fresh, vibrant colours without compromise. The finish repels only water-based liquids such as coffee, tea, wine and soft drinks. It does not repel oil or oil-based stains such as mayonnaise and ketchup.

Prevents water-based stains from setting in

The fabric’s hydrophobic performance comes from a sustainable finish made from synthetic (polymer-based) wax and free from PFAS and fluorocarbons. The finish was developed in Vescom’s 100% owned factory to ensure complete control over the formula and process. Enveloping the yarn, this protective layer creates a barrier that keeps spills on the surface temporarily, allowing for quick and easy cleaning.

Clint, Vescom’s first product in this category, is a 100% recycled polyester FR upholstery fabric in a wide-ranging palette of 34 colour combinations.

Performance testing

Clint’s water-repellent properties have been officially tested in accordance with EN ISO 4920 (spray test) to measure resistance to water penetration. On a scale from 1 to 5, Clint achieves a rating of 4.
